3 months.

Dear Clyde,

Today makes three months. I have gone three months without having you (my daddy) on this earth. And it doesn't get easier with time. Whoever said that was a liar. I am going to need to do something to keep my mind from wandering today, it will be difficult that is for sure. The only thing that comforts me is knowing you were saved. That makes all of this loneliness temporary. Knowing I will see your face again makes me excited. I love you daddy. Everything I do is for you and through you. You are my strength to keep going and fulfill all of my goals and dreams in life. I will always be your Bonnie and you are still my Clyde. That will never go away.

**Butterfly kisses**
I love you daddy.

ps. Nick and me are making plans to find your old white bronco and buy it so we can fix it up for us and your future grandbabies...we know you would love that.

Love,
Bonnie

God gave me you for the up's and downs...

For those of you who are reading and don't already know...I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend Nick for 6 wonderful years. As much as they have been wonderful and the best 6 years of my life, they have also had alot of hard times to accompany those fun and easy times. This past year we have had so many up's and downs...between a hard month breakup, daddy's passing and other family issues...we have stuck it out and made it through the storm. When I first started dating I was 15 and he was 16, we thought we were big shot's because he could drive and I was about to turn 16. We had puppy love and it was over flowing. Everynight we would kiss and say those infamous words to eachother when he would walk me to my door after a date "I love you". Little did I know, I had no idea what love was. Much less unconditional love. It was a term I thought I knew all about. Now that I am nearing 21 in 23 days it is becoming real what real, unconditional, pure, godly love is. We have made it through thick and thin, black and white and fun and sad. He has been there by my side through every rough time and always been a shoulder that I knew I could cry on. When my daddy passed away 3 months ago, it killed me, knowing that my daddy honeslty loved Nick and gave him his blessing before he passed...makes me feel at peace with knowing that he is the one for me. I am so in love with him and his family and our future that I cant even contain myself sometimes. It makes me cry like a baby right now as I write this because my family, and his mesh so well and one day we will have our own. I love you Nicholas Medrano, more that you will ever know or understand.

Please find Black Shelton's: God Gave me You.
This is my anthem.

I love crafting!!

Lately it seems like I have been getting the chance to make alot of stuff. I really want to start doing a craft everyday. I have come to realize that crafting and making things is really an escape for me. When I get my creative juices flowing, there is no stopping me. I love to do nearly everything that has to do with crafts. I just wish I could keep up with one in particular (my scrapbooks). I always start and never finish! Maybe that will be my next goal...get my scrapbooks going and don't stop half way through! I just finished an outfit for a girl named Betsy, it was her nieces first birthday and the theme was "Sock Monkey". Ive always thought that monkey themes were adorable for kids birthday's (since they are much like monkeys themselves lol). Here is a few pictures of the finished product. Next week I have a bow order, and a photography session! Then the week after that I have an order for a few dozen firetruck cupcakes...keep the orders coming! It makes my life fun and keeps me happy!

Look how precious the ribbon made monkey in the middle of the hair bow is! I just love it!

Finished product! Just love it!

Peaceful.

Right now I am sitting in UHCL at my Special Education class. We are watching a video about children who are in special education and I cannot help but think about how blessed me and my family and friends are. Lately I have thought about alot of the negatives that come along with life in general. I haven't taken the time out to look at all the wonderful thing that are going on right now in my life, my families life and all the people I love and care about. Life is such a short ride. I want to have all the fun and happiness I can before it is all over. I thank God for everything that he has provided for me and I can't help but ask why? I know the answer...because I have laid everything down on the line and gave him all my worries. That is the only reason, on a daily basis I tell God, please just do your will and I will be happy. No matter what that is, it is his will and I know it is what is best for me.

Today before class I took the girls to go get some highlights, just wanted to share a picture for this blog. Doesn't really go with my message, just a fun pic :)

Living life to the fullest!

Lately I have been so stressed out about finances and everything that surrounds school. I haven't even stopped to smell the roses and point out all the wonderful things that are developing in my life. When Daddy passed away it put my entire life on hold, I didn't even want to get up in the morning...much less go to school and act like a normal person. Slowly but surely I am starting to do more and think about the wonderful man that my Daddy was and will always be. The past week all I can think about is how my dad lived his life to the fullest! He never ever let a fun time or something fun pass him up, he always was having fun even in his last days. I want my life to be like that! The past few months I really gave up on craft's, cakes and also photography. Which is crazy to me because those are all the things that I absolutely love to do. My Daddy was the one who bought me my first camera and was always buying me photography things and being completely enthusiastic about my photography kicking off! I never want to quit because that is something that me and him loved talking about together. He was always cheering me on with everything that I do. So this past week I have started to do things that I love again! Here is a few snapshot's of what I have been doing this past week!

Here is a cute peace sign cake I made for Nick's cousin who was turning 11!

A lovely pink and black polka dot bow I made for an adorable baby girl!

And how could you not want a cutesy camo bow!

Last but not least, I took this couple's pictures at a park around Baytown. They did wonderful!

Haleigh's 11th Birthday

Today was Haleigh's Birthday Party. Her birthday was really on Thursday but we had her party today. Her best friend Faith Anderson came over to join us in celebrating Haliegh's 11Th B-day, I cannot believe that she is that old already. I have an 11 year old and a 13 year old sister, that is absolutely un real to me. This year so far has brought alot of heartbreak but today it was good to look at something positive...11 years of life and more to come for our beautiful Haleigh. She is turning into such a beautiful, smart, confident, caring, christian and talented young lady. Every day she amazes me at how wonderful she is. I am so lucky to call her my youngest sister. She is truly a blessing and I love her so very much. I hope she had as much fun as I did at her birthday! :) I love you baby girl! Here is a few pictures of her party!

I miss you..

If Red Roses grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Daddy's arms and tell him they're from me. Tell him that I love and miss him, and when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for awhile.

Stuck in a rut.

Lately, within the past few day's I have just felt like I have been in a major rut. Spiritually, physically and emotionally. I am not sure how to shake this feeling other than to just pray about it. I was looking on a fellow blogger's blog and she posted this lovely prayer that I just love. Every word speaks to me in a major way :

"Lord Jesus, you have shown me that only one thing is absolutely necessary, and that is the only thing that I want to seek after with all my heart: that I may live in Your presence every day of my life, that I may gaze upon Your beauty with a heart of worship and adoration, and that I may learn to know Your heart, Your ways and Your will. To this supreme purpose I dedicate myself. By your grace, I will make this the highest priority of my life. Amen"

When I read this I felt like this prayer covers all bases....no matter what I am needing or wanting in my life, I still need to dedicate my EVERY move to Jesus Christ and it will always work out. We may not think that things work out OUR way, but they work out HIS way ....and that is the BEST way. I am so thankful that I was raised knowing Jesus Christ, lately I have been praying for a chance to witness to someone about his love and kindness. I can't imagine not knowing Jesus on a personal level, I want to introduce someone to unconditional love like I feel.

All in His name,
Madison :)

Month Of Praise

I am going to start a month of praise. Some days are going to be words from me, some days will be words just straight from the bible...no matter where it is coming from it will all be for one reason: to shed light on Jesus and his words. Today I want the focus to be "Hidden Sin". Scripture tells us "Be sure your sin will find you out" (Num 32: 23). We may be able to hide our sin from other people, but nothing is "hidden from God's sight" (Heb. 4:13). "He sees each of our failures, thoughts and motivations (1 Sam. 16:7; Luke 12:2-3). Believers are given a wonderful promise: "If we confess our sins (God) is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" ( 1 John 1:9). So don't let unconfessed so-called " hidden sins" come between you and your God. DON'T LET ANYTHING COME BETWEEN YOU AND ETERNITY.
